The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Assistant to the President of Hearst Digital Media and is responsible for providing administrative support to a few key members of the Hearst Digital Management Team. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that business operations are maintained. The person must be extremely organized, a self-starter, a fast learner, and very motivated to go above and beyond what is expected.
Assists key players:
• Manage heavy calendar, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants to coordinate variety of executive meetings
• Arrange travel schedules and reservations for executives as needed
• Manage executive’s expenses via receipt management and expense reports
• Misc projects as delegated by management
• Provide back-up support to other administrative staff and office management as needed
The Qualifications:
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
• Ability to efficiently schedule time and activities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
