Job Description:
Administrative Assistant (Bilingual English and Japanese)
Company is seeking a bilingual (English and Japanese) Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities:
• Performs administrative duties for the CEO. Responsibilities include screening calls; making travel, meeting and event arrangements.
• Attend meetings to help facilitate effective conversations between Japanese speaking and English speaking collages, take notes, and recap meetings as needed
• Write department level communication on behalf of CEO in both English and Japanese
• Coordinate with outside professionals (advertising, media, legal, medical, etc.)
• Calendar management (internal and external meetings)
• File and submit all corporate expenses monthly
Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate fluently (written and verbally) in both English and Japanese
• Must have strong verbal and written business communication skills. Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner at a senior level.
• Highly organized with strong attention to recording and recalling details
• Proficient in Google and Microsoft programs
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to occasionally travel to Japan
