Responsibilities:
• Work with his/her assigned accounts to define client and advertising campaign strategies
• Conferring with creative and media teams to develop the campaign strategy, select applicable media, determine the timing and placement of ads, and estimate all campaign costs
• Submitting advertising/marketing campaign proposals, suggested concepts, and estimated budgets to client for approval
• Conferring with client, utilizing product knowledge and research, to determine advertising goals and budget limitations
• Providing clear and timely direction to all other agency departments regarding the campaign via team meetings, work orders, work order revisions, creative/media briefs, task/status reports or similar communication vehicles
• Coordinating client/brand team meetings, including project kick-off meetings, weekly update meetings and periodic update meetings with the client
• Using market research to evaluate, adjust, and redirect campaign as necessary and/or appropriate
• Managing all day-to-day client account activities
• Maintains a focus on the short-term campaign deliverables, concurrent with a firm understanding of client’s long-term goals
• Maintains confidentiality while working closely with client regarding all aspects of campaigns
Qualifications:
• This position requires a BA/BS and a minimum of four (4) years of prior experience within an ad agency or similar industry and three (3) years of experience as an Account Manager
• A strong customer service orientation and the ability to form long-term customer relationships
• Must possess strong verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment
• The ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Effective problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to assess situations, evaluate options and make decisions/draw conclusions
• Able to motivate and lead others in the development, direction and execution of advertising projects/campaigns
