DESCRIPTION:
WWJ Newsradio 950 is seeking ambitious and talented professionals to join our team as multimedia consultative advertising sales executives. Successful candidates must be risk takers not order takers, creators not followers. Your primary objective will be to demonstrate strong sales leadership and customer advocacy while achieving revenue goals and developing new business. We have a wide portfolio of on-air, on-site and on-device solutions and provide strong, effective integrated campaigns for our clients.
Expectations include:
-Saturate the market with 100+ contacts and cold calls per week
-Meet/exceed established sales targets
-Keep sales funnel full with 10+ selling appointments per week, which include needs analysis, demonstration, closing, upselling and cross selling
-Provide excellent customer service and consultation with existing customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on complex sales proposals with multiple products; attention to detail; good organizational skill, ability to prioritize work, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines; highly proficient with a computer to develop and deliver formal presentations; willing and able to work independently; strong communication and presentation skills; and staying up-to-date with digital marketing developments is essential for success in this role. You must also hold a valid driver's license.
