This position exists to serve as the primary account contact and relationship manager through understanding of the current business environment and supporting all account and VF needs and requirements. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Sells, negotiates, and communicates Brand strategies and initiatives
• Develops and implements sales planning and forecasting
• Provides direction to cross-functional areas throughout the company
• Utilizes technology, systems, analytical tools and processes to achieve directives
• Coordinates category management, RFSM, replenishment and sales planning strategies with designated personnel
• Maintains and provides detailed knowledge of the industry and competitive environment
• Manages inventory levels, internal and external, in conjunction with Replenishment team to achieve targeted sales, turnover and in stock percentage goals
• Directs, develops and negotiates join business plan and collaborative forecasting
Requirements:
• Minimum BS/BA degree
• 1-2 years in category management
• Experience working with mid-tier accounts a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Working knowledge of retail industry
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
• Frequent travel
• Ability to work in high stress situations
