Account Executive - Specialty
Job Description:
The Account Executive will be the driving force behind our growth strategy within Company wholesale and play a key role in expanding our brand. The Account Executive must be goal-driven, highly motivated, energetic and confident to develop long-term business relationships. He/she will be responsible for positioning the brand within specialty stores, as well as achieving sales targets seasonally.
Duties:
• Increases business growth with current accounts and new accounts by generating sales
• Develops and manages existing working relationships with buyers
• Develops business strategies to prospect new accounts
• Reviews websites and competition on a weekly basis and provides constructive feedback to sales and merchandising teams
• Maintains and reviews final selling analysis for all accounts
• Helps create merchandising line plans and all market prep
• Reviews and analyzes all selling reports on a weekly basis
• Assists with logistics and preparations for trade shows and market
• Participates in representing and/or selling the line in trade shows
• Follow up with trade show orders with accounts and customer service.
• Oversees look book photo shoot after each market to develop look books as a sales selling tool.
• Maintains sample log and track samples
Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 4-5 years of previous account executive experience in the contemporary market
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers to develop strong long term relationships
• Strong understanding of retail math and sales planning
• Ability to cross function and foster teamwork
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including a high level of proficiency with Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be flexible to travel requirements
