SUMMARY
Are you a natural collaborator who brings together diverse teams to achieve a common goal? As an Account Director on our FreemanXP team, you will beworking with highly complex accounts and managing key client relationships. Ensuring that key resources are deployed will secure our client's satisfaction. This will be accomplished through close partnership with the client solutions and business development teams.
Client Solutions
• Operates as the main point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers. Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Develops trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders.
• Focuses on monitoring and growing existing business. May also assist in re-signing and up-selling existing business. Grows opportunities with existing accounts by selling additional services.
• Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained. Estimates date of completion to customer, based on knowledge of production and schedules.
• Confirms jobs and requests necessary information to prepare service manuals and work orders.
• Inspects job site for proper planning when necessary. Supervises jobs on site as required.
• Services accounts through the use of presentations, demos, quotes, estimates, billing, etc.
• Participates in post event meetings with assigned accounts. Follows-up on customer complaints and collections as necessary.
• Mentors members of team and participates in the performance management process as requested. Oversees staff assigned to the show.
• Entertains clients and facilities as necessary.
• Ensures the successful management of all communications, both internal and external related to account assignments
• Responsible for keeping all account relationships on track. This includes successful relationship building, program execution and delivery on customer service imperatives.
• Provides clear direction, information and expectations to team members, vendors, suppliers and additional resources
• Ensures quality control and highest possible output for all deliverables from FreemanXP departments including (creative, strategy, operations, production, entertainment and digital)
• Manages overall profitability of individual programs as well as specific account assignments
• Stays current on industry trends, event marketing activities and general marketing practices
• Contributes to the growth of our Energy vertical market segment through thought leadership, planning and account planning activities
• Prepares all account updates including quarterly Account Plans including sales forecasts, staffing and resource needs and business development plans, related to individual accounts.
• Attends industry events as assigned.
Business Development
• Up-sells to enhance customer experience.
• Cross sells all Company lines as appropriate.
Miscellaneous
• Prepares reports of business transactions.
• Keeps track of travel expenses and submits travel expense reports as required.
• Represents Company to internal personnel and external contacts in a loyal, ethical, and moral manner.
• May lead client solutions project teams
• Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum 7+ years of related sales experience.
• Strategic account management experience
• Strategic selling and cross divisional land cross service experience (B-to-B, B-to-C and internal communications)
• Financially acumen with the ability to deliver on P&L benchmarks
• Ability to track and manage teams allocation/reallocation of hours and efforts
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to present to a wide range of C-level audiences.
• Flexibility with a positive can-do attitude and an ability to anticipate needs – client and team members.
• Has proven the ability to successfully manage their own book of accounts in the profitable production of revenue opportunities
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications.
• Demonstrated customer service and organizational skills
Preferred
• CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management), CPSP (Certified Professional Sales Person) or CRSP (Certified and Registered Sales Professional)
