We’re looking for a Lead 3ds Max Modeler to join Team Company! We’re looking for someone who is an expert in designing 3D assets. In this role, you’ll partner with prototypers and engineers to deliver new assets and experiences from initial concepts to final implementation.
What will you do:
• Lead the Modeler team creating 3D assets for Company products
• Design high-poly and low-poly models of 3D characters, clothes, accessories, and props in accordance to specific technical requirements and limitations
• Ensure high modeling quality based on concepts and instructions from the project lead
• Work closely with character riggers, texturers, animators, and the shading department
• Collaborate with prototypers and engineers
• Provide character modelers with technical specs for rigging, skinning, shading, and facial expression producing
• Perform quality checks for character models
What we’re looking for:
• 3+ years of experience in a Lead Modeler role
• 7+ years of experience of character modeling
• A strong 3D design portfolio
• Someone who is proficient in 3Ds Max and Maya
• A creative person with the ability to adapt to various styles
• Precision and an eye for details
• Knowledge of low-poly and high-poly modeling
• Someone who has a proficiency in using edge loops
• Work experience in Zbrush and Modbox is a plus
• Experience producing blend shapes (facial expressions and lipsync morph targets) is a plus
• Ability to complete tasks within production schedules and deadlines in an organized manner
• Ability to learn and adapt to new workflows and methods
• Someone who’s open and responsive to guidance and review notes from creative and technical supervisors
