• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary to work with medical, nursing staff and external review agencies in monitoring and evaluating the quality of patient care
• Laboratory testing experience preferred, demonstrating a working knowledge of scientific and laboratory disciplines
• Knowledge of financial practices, statistical analysis, and quality improvement techniques as they relate to resource management
• Working knowledge of or familiarity with hospital operations
• Proficient use of personal computers or terminals
