• If assigned to Blood Bank, follows established policy and procedure for collection, labeling, acceptance and storage of Blood Bank specimens
• Performs transfusion reaction in a prompt and accurate manner
• Follows proper procedure for dispensing blood and blood products

• Medical Technologist from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent

• National Certification as a medical technologist or clinical laboratory scientist
• Previous experience in Blood Banking is desirable
