Responsibilities for Stationary Engineer Cover Letter

Stationary engineer responsible for asset support for machinery equipment including: centrifugal pumps, reciprocating and other positive displacement (PD) pumps, hydraulic turbines, screw and other PD compressors, fans and blowers, steam turbines, multi-phase pumps, cold gas expanders, gearboxes, variable frequency drives (VFDs), helper motors, torque converters and other mechanical starting devices, specialty machinery deployed in Polymers processes including granules dryers, hyper compressors, solids handling equipment, powder conveyors, extrusion equipment including drive gear, extruders, pelletizers, melt gear pump and drives, and associated support systems.

As specified, checks steam generators, cooling towers, hot water converters, air compressors, and heating and ventilating units throughout plant
Does simple pipe fitting work such as installing valves, making temporary hook ups for cleaning condensors, pack chilled water pumps
Should be familiar with basic electrical control circuits for various auxiliary systems
Knowledge of state electrical and fire protection code procedures
Post high school training program, or extensive experience in maintenance trade as a service and/or repair person preferred
