• Bending, lifting (minimum of 25 pounds), grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, pulling, and squatting
• Current basic life support (BLS) & NRP certification
• Mother baby couplet care highly preferred
• NICU nursing experience is highly preferred
• Basic Fetal Monitoring- within first six months of employment
• Medication administration with understanding of side effects for NICU/newborn population
• Demonstrates knowledge of phototherapy and Kernicterus as a never event

• Able to meet job duties of Clinical Nurse I
• Under the general supervision of the Director, the Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility for all functions of the unit
• Previous neonatal transport nurse experience preferred

• With input from/collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, develops and maintains with the patient/ significant other, an individualized, professionally modified plan of care reflective of changing needs/goals as determined by evaluating the patient/significant other response to the plan of care
