• Provide inpatient/bedside dialysis treatment to high acuity patients
• Cover multiple hospital facilities and work with interdisciplinary clinical teams
• Work 4 days a week which includes 1-2 days on-call, rotating weekends & holidays and some overtime
• LA RN license, in good standing
• Valid Driver's License – able and willing to commute to all NOLA facilities

In my previous role, I was responsible for current American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

• Administer medications including IV medications as ordered
• Insert foley catheters as ordered
• Utilize and instruct patient/family on the use of the telehealth tablet used for biometric data capture, patient symptom reporting, and telehealth visits
• Participate in regular case conferences and in-service or special case orientations as needed and participate in on-call rotation
• Addresses patient calls, portal messages and emails in a timely manner
• Asks appropriate open-ended questions utilizing computerized algorithms/pathways to assist in the assessment of patient's symptoms and side effect management and documents interventions
• Assesses urgency of patient symptoms/side effects and addresses them appropriately

• Coordinating the entire RAI process assuring the accuracy, timeliness and completion of the MDS, CAAs and interdisciplinary Care plan for all residents in the facility in accordance with all federal and state certification guidelines
• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices
• Assesses health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history
• Collects and records nursing assessment and interventions
• Reviews and reports the results of the health status assessment and physical examination, pertinent laboratory data, radiographic data and psychosocial assessment of assigned patients to the provider
• Assures pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies where applicable
