• Basic computer knowledge to include experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel

• Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) preferred

In the previous role, I was responsible for guidance to individual researchers regarding IRB submissions, incomplete protocols, policy questions, and serves as a consultant on matters pertaining to the use of human subjects in HBS research.

• Previous experience with Phlebotomy
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to area of research, preferred
• Develops organizational aids and checklists to facilitate patient recruitment and enrollment the collection of complete and accurate study data, including case report forms and adverse event reports
• Ensures that proper study drug/device procedures and medication administration are followed and completed per protocol requirements
• Works with research pharmacists, ancillary departments, nursing units, and Physicians and their staff to provide departmental and intradepartmental staff and patient education with regard to clinical trials
• Ensure that the Principal Investigator is informed in a timely manner of all study-related activities
• Ensure the safety and welfare of study subjects by being knowledgeable about ongoing study protocols and investigational articles
• Participates in quality assurance activities (monitoring visits, internal audits, sponsor audits, FDA audits)
