• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certificate preferred
• Knowledge of mammography and other breast imaging procedures, radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures usually obtained by being a graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) accredited educational program or equivalent
• Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients, patient’s families, physicians, and other health care providers when performing mammography and radiographic exams

• Obtains ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Obtain advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography
• Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology
• Produce high quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital personnel
