• CNA in Wisconsin, currently enrolled in a nursing program leading to a Registered Nurse or Practical Nursing licensure, or has graduated from the program but does not hold a temporary permit, or who has been unsuccessful on the nursing licensure exam one time and is retaking the exam (BQA Memo 5/11/01, DSL-BQA-01-021)
• For Nurse Techs in 65310 - Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam within allotted time frame, as specified in policy
• Requires the interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with patients and their families to calm fears and to exchange detailed patient information with hospital professional staff
• Currently enrolled and attending an accredited school of registered nursing
• RN from another state awaiting Michigan Licensure (or) Graduate Nurse from accredited school of nursing awaiting retake of NCLEX or awaiting results of the last exam
• Transcripts at the time of hire
• Follows established guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or unanticipated outcome in the patient’s care which results on patient harm
