• Knowledge of oils and basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
• Experience in mining industry, preferably primary crusher environment
• Have an understanding of the principles of operation, function and construction of fuel handling facilities, temperature, pressure and level regulators, their controls and auxiliary equipment
• Have an understanding of the principles of operation of rotating electrical equipment and appurtenant apparatus
• Have a complete mental picture and be able to sketch from memory a flow diagram of the fuel handling facility
• Know Company safety rules and be able to administer all approved methods of resuscitation and be able to render practical first aid
• Know location of, and be able to operate, all the firefighting equipment
• Poses an FE Ghanaian drivers’ license
