• Understanding of demand planning and supply chain fundamentals

• The purpose of the Demand Planner is to translate demand signals into a demand plan that drives the sales and operations process, including financials
• Create and maintain forecast models for the customer base, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered though working with sales, marketing, finance and other sources
• Improve demand forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias through consistent use of professional tools, techniques, and measurements that meet customer needs, profitable growth targets, delivery of internal inventory targets, and deliver operational efficiency goals
• Own and execute the process to generate a consistent and robust demand plan and monthly sales forecast supporting the company’s sales and operations processes and financial reporting
• Drive implementation and management of local, regional, and global demand planning process improvements and stakeholder development
• Serve as the single source of contact/information for Demand Management (Product Planning) for the demand plan
