Previously, I was responsible for a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving to the field-based corrosion supervisors and corrosion technicians for complex corrosion control issues such as stray current, remedial actions, AC mitigation, atmospheric and underground coatings, electrical isolation, above-ground surveys such as close-interval survey, DCVG and ACVG, and design for specialized or complex cathodic protection systems.

• Assist and direct C&M or contractors in the installation of corrosion Control systems
• Design cathodic protection systems for services and smaller coated main segments
• Inspect non-cathodically protected services or mains for potential future protection
• Knowledge and application of pipeline cathodic protection concepts
• Proficient with computers and related data query and entry applications including GIS
• Experience with PC applications (Word, Excel)
• Knowledge and understanding of corrosion control systems and coatings for above and below ground pipeline construction
• Basic knowledge of pipeline operations especially those involving Highly Volatile Liquids (HVL) and petrochemical pipelines
