Responsibilities for Cable Assembler Cover Letter

Cable assembler responsible for training to associates as needed including broad variety of mechanical and basic testing activities.

Production of wire harness and cable assemblies using hand and/or power tools (including specialized crimpers, drills, soldering tools, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, wire strippers, precision measuring instruments)
Familiarization with D38999 mil-spec, Molex and Fischer or Lemo connectors
Daily cable and harness techniques (wire cutting, cable prep and layup, connectorization, crimping, shielding, potting, soldering, jacketing, braiding, molding, use of lacing tape and spot ties for open wire bundles, testing)
Familiar with using epoxy and adhesives to backfill/encapsulate backshells
Conducts in process inspections on product in accordance with drawings and quality specifications
Some of the basic things they need are to be able to read drawings and follow procedures , experience with RF Coax cable (not to be confused with DC cables) , knowledge of how to use hand tools properly such as pliers, files, picks and calipers
