• Prior experience in accident investigation and/or training and safety management of a mixed (fixed and rotary wing) aircraft fleet
• Completion of a US military, FAA, NTSB or accredited university aircraft accident investigation course
• May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical mist, gas, vapors, ultraviolet and infrared radiations
• General knowledge of Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA), SMS, ASAP, aviation investigations and related Code of Federal (CFR) regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook)
• Subject matter expertise on the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) as detailed in FAA Advisory Circular 120-66, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and other FAA guidance
• Knowledge of safety reporting in general and Safety Management System (SMS) goals
• FAA certificated airman or military equivalent preferred - commercial/ATP, airframe/mechanic, dispatcher
