Global Head of Treasury

ASX listed international payments business with operations in 7 countries and $21 billion annual turnover.
Directed all market and trading operations group-wide, with creation and execution of a global treasury policy spanning six geographies.
Managed annual trading flows exceeding AUD25bn across spot FX, forward contracts, NDFs, swaps, OTC options, term deposits, alongside multiple cash products and financing facilities.
Developed a panel of 10 global correspondent banking relationships encompassing commercial, transactional, credit, compliance, regulatory, and product issues. This sat alongside on-boarding new correspondent banking partners including prudent negotiation of pricing and contract terms, ISDAs, and financing facilities.
Recruited and trained a global team, fostering an open culture of continuous improvement. Setting of KPIs and performance management to provide bottom-line outcomes. Timely delivery of Board and Executive reporting for all treasury functions.

Major Accomplishments:
Designed and launched a 24/7 trading model (from 24/5), improving client engagement and adding a further 6-10% uplift to EBIT.
Delivered swift process change and people management (across dealing, service, banking, treasury, and marketing) to lead OFX through the Brexit vote Black Swan event - delivering record monthly net revenues.
Treasury prior to my appointment was a loss-making business function, costing 2% of annual revenue. This now provides an uplift of over 4% of annual dealing revenue.
Slashed net costs through an upgrade of all trading platforms, and implementation of a new rate feed system for the group following an extensive procurement and negotiation process.

Developed treasury into a standalone function by delivering the necessary systems upgrades to fuel the growth alongside appraisal and overhaul of all current procedures. Cultivated fruitful relationships with a panel of correspondent banking partners.
