Summary

I studied Theatre at Bennington College where I earned a BA in Acting & Directing. Since graduating, I have gone on to train in Dublin, Ireland at the Gaiety School of Acting and the Momentum Acting Studio.

I am interested in telling stories that feature LGBTQIA+ issues, feminism, gender identity, and family dynamics. I am eager to explore new and challenging roles that push me as a performer. Growth is a very important part of the work I do and every opportunity I can get to do improve, whether it’s an audition or a short film, I am eager to take that on.

I am always open to collaborating with up and coming artists with new and challenging work!

Experience

2018 Dec - Present
Executive Assistant
The Children's Hospital Group / Dublin, Ireland

Currently I am working as an Executive Assistant with The Children’s Hospital Group. Being part of this organisation is an incredible opportunity for me to engage my passion for social causes and community building. As the new children’s hospital is a major project, I often find myself working under pressure to liaise with C-level stakeholders to organize meetings and provide administrative support. My day involves handling confidential material with discretion, diary management for company executives, ordering catering, coordinating travel arrangements, setting up teleconferences, and managing expense reports. As part of the executive support staff, it’s important for me to show good work ethic and accountability to my team so that we can offer the best of our abilities to the new children’s hospital project.

2019 Mar - Present
Production Assistant
Freelance PA / New York, NY

I have been working as a freelance PA in New York for the past year and a half. I have worked on several film/TV sets in the city as well as on independent features and student projects. I have provided support to crew by organizing props, scheduling meals, maintaining set cleanliness, and assisting with any additional duties on set.

2019 Jun - 2020 Jun
Box Office Representative
Theatre Row / New York, NY

My primary responsibilities at Theatre Row include processing ticket orders from Telecharge and TodayTix, answering customer questions about box office policies, printing and organizing tickets, creating daily reports and providing assistance to the Box Office Manager. In addition, I utilize Star ticketing software to process purchases, update event information, compile daily earnings reports, and search for and apply any discount codes offered for performances.

2018 Mar - 2018 Oct
Administrative Assistant
Lisney Estate Agents / Dublin, Ireland
I was tasked with providing support to the Valuations Department by editing and drafting valuation reports, liaising with clients, arranging meetings and property viewings, and act as a point of contact for the Head of Valuations. In addition, I oversaw an archiving project in which I compiled older files into a spreadsheet to keep on record before then arranging off-site storage to send processed files. This was an important assignment as we needed to create room to allow for construction to take place on the second floor. I also had the great pleasure of assisting the Events and Marketing staff with coordinating office events such as The Grant Thornton 5K run and the Dragon at the Docks boat race.
2016 Feb - 2016 Mar
Production Assistant
The Mint Theatre Company / New York

My primary responsibilities with The Mint included liaising with the Artistic Director and Associate Producer, answering audience questions via phone, proof-reading scripts, fulfilling ticket sales via Ovationtix and Star, maintaining patron/donor information on the company's database, and assisting with other work when necessary.

2016 Jan - 2016 Feb
Directing Intern
Hubbard Hall Center for Arts and Education / Cambridge, NY

My junior year I had the opportunity to work with the Hubbard Hall Center for Art and Education. While there I aided office staff with coordinating upcoming events, primarily The Winter Carnival play-writing festival. Under the guidance of the Artistic Director, I helped update the Center's Facebook page as well as draft email campaigns with information about Festival events and performance dates.

2014 Jul - 2014 Aug
PR Coordinator
The Atlantic Music Festival / Waterville, ME

As a PR Coordinator for The Atlantic Music Festival, where I was tasked with improving the festival's relationship with the nearby businesses and community center. To fulfill this goal I organized weekly in-town meet-and-greets where we met with business owners and other members of the community to tell them about the festival. By prioritizing in-person communication, we saw an increase in local attendance to concerts and other festival events. I was also responsible for managing and updating the Festival's social media accounts, including Facebook and Twitter. While reporting to the Director of Operations, I drafted email campaigns to send to subscribers and Festival participants which included information about the festival's history, founding and mission statement, class schedules and other event dates, as well as performance dates and times.

Education

2013 - 2017
Bennington College
Bachelor's Degree / Theater, Arts Management, Directing

During my undergrad, I studied the logistics of running performance companies from as big as a Broadway-based company, to as tiny as a beloved community theater. I worked as a production assistant for Off-Broadway companies such as The Mint Theater Company and independent companies like the Stolen Chair Theater Company. I've also worked in regional theaters as an assistant stage manager and assistant director. Thanks to my time as a director I have an intimate understanding of what it's like on both sides of the audition table. As a stage manager, I have supervised callbacks and have practical experience when it comes to coordinating with directors, performers, and other creatives in a production environment. Above all, I have hands-on experience of what an actor goes through during auditions and callbacks. While my passion for theater remains, moving forward I want to steer my career path towards the film/TV industry, with a primary focus in gaining professional casting experience.
