Account responsible for all business towards Verizon Wireless and Tier 2 carriers at Tillman Infrastructure, a start-up Tower development company. Operational accountability for new cellular tower and colocation opportunities including Real Estate, Site Development, Engineering and Construction Management services.

  • Initiated and secured 3 new tower clients within three months. Developed 300+ new tower opportunities and delivered them through the site acquisition lifecycle.
  • Established a “first of its kind” nationwide joint tower development program to pursue strategic high rent relocation demands between two tier 1 carriers, including new project tracking software tools, end to end delivery processes, KPI report generation and Executive dashboard creation.

  • Successfully created and directly managed the day to day operation of the field program management execution function consisting of multiple geographically dispersed regional offices. Responsible for building nationwide supply chain including sourcing and vendor management for end to end new tower delivery.

Responsible for creating, implementing and managing a companywide Program Management Organization, focused on best-in-class end-to-end execution towards all Tier 1 mobile carriers and Vertical Real Estate Owners in the North American Wireless and Broadcast industries.

  • Delivered strong P&L result on $130M+ USD revenues, managing nationwide project teams consisting of 200+ cross-functional service personnel responsible for wireless network infrastructure (TURF), DAS, Small Cell and Broadcast deployment, including Real Estate, Site Development, Engineering, Construction and OEM Installation services.
  • Significantly improved customer focus through comprehensive change management of all facets of the execution process, resulting in the creation of streamlined project structures, new mission-critical business KPIs and improved monthly executive dashboard visibility; improvement in the analytical approach to measuring execution capabilities and performance culminated in faster cycle times, better time to market and improved year-on-year overall customer satisfaction results.
  • Implemented a new end to end project tracking software system to improve overall delivery performance visibility and developed new vendor management processes linking supplier performance to customer goals and objectives which resulted in a substantial year on year vendor scorecard improvement.

  • Created, developed and implemented the first companywide DAS and Small Cell field services project delivery organization with required program governance models, processes and tools needed to deliver a true nationwide services portfolio which resulted in a breakthrough DAS awards with Verizon Wireless.

Responsible for managing the delivery and implementation of the complete Ericsson LTE, DAS and CDMA hardware, software and services portfolio for Verizon Wireless for the Eastern U.S. Key account liaison with Sales, Product and Service Delivery functions.

  • Successfully executed over $300M USD in Field Operations services, including Engineering, Civil Works and Construction, Integration, Tuning and Software Deployment, covering over 3,000 LTE (4G) eNodeB, associated core nodes and several DAS venues. Program delivered with sufficient quality for customer to award 100% of site prep services in several markets for next phase of rollout.
  • Held line management responsibility for ten Project Managers and 50 field personnel, covering the Southern U.S. and delivering over $400M USD in CDMA RAN and core hardware, software and services while developing and integrating new customer interfaces into the Ericsson ways of working.
  • Designed and drove significant improvements to strengthen vendor supply chain sourcing model, creating a much more robust, scalable and dependable services delivery network.

Head of National PMO. Developed national transformation processes and procedures to improve delivery efficiencies during high growth period. Managed the successful execution of over $1B USD in Engineering, Installation, Integration and Optimization field services covering nationwide deployment of over 20,000 3G/UMTS nodes, including RAN, NMS/OSS and 8,000+ sites of civil works.

  • Significantly improved year-on-year financial performance by championing extensive change management processes. Resulted in a 25% increase in service margins and achieved a 50% cost reduction in the national UMTS program whilst delivering twice the volume of the previous year.
  • Directed global systems integration teams through the full SDLC to deliver complex $20M+ USD WAP2 Gateway, Answer Tone and Prepaid Hosting solutions.
  • Led Project Management teams responsible for the development, testing, industrialization and successful customer acceptance of multiple, first-in-the-world hardware and software platforms for UMTS/3G, GSM and multimedia products and solutions.
