Key Achievements:

  • Led a data-driven approach and analysis of Foreign Direct Investment into the San Diego region including greenfield, venture capital, and mergers & acquisition investments as well as metro-level export data to develop the regional five year trade strategy for San Diego in collaboration with WTC San Diego’s Global Competitiveness Council.
  • Assisted in the implementation and development of MetroConnect, World Trade Center San Diego’s flagship export assistance program focused on small to mid-sized companies in San Diego and their expansion into global markets that led to an increase in export sales totaling $68m.
  • Supported the economic development goals of the region by facilitating attraction, expansion, and retention projects for international and local firm through a research and development-oriented approach.
