Job Description:
We are a creative business, the hallmarks of which are communication and reaching people. Our Receptionists greet and interact with our 1000+ employees, as well as a myriad of visitors ranging from internship candidates to celebrities to international leaders of Fortune 500 companies. This is the everyday for us at Grey, and our Receptionists are tasked with handling this effortlessly, with poise and gravitas. If you have an ebullient personality, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and have experience handling the tasks as outlined below, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Serve as first point of contact for visitors to Grey New York office
• Determine visitor needs and direct them to the appropriate location/person
• Answer, screen, and direct calls in a courteous and professional manner
• Process meeting room requests and manage meeting room calendars
Consistently demonstrate a positive, engaging, and welcoming demeanor
Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer and software skills, particularly MS Office and Outlook.
• Prior experience answering multi-line phones in an office environment is a plus
• Friendly, professional, and mature demeanor
• Demonstrated commitment to punctuality
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
