About this role
As the Director of Operations for Women's soccer, you will provide support for women's soccer operations. This includes but is not limited to recruiting, travel, programmatic structure (liaison to dining, academics, life skills, strength and conditioning, equipment, sports medicine, compliance). In this role, you work with the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and Associate Director of Student Athletics to maximize resources in an effort to ensure athletic success and student development.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Women’s Soccer offices.
• Responsible for coordinating liaison positions with strength and conditioning, sports medicine, equipment, video, dining services, academics, and compliance and all other related departments that effect soccer.
• Serve as Camp Director and oversee all aspects of summer camps.
• Work closely with Recruiting Coordinator to coordinate the submission of student-athlete prospects to Dean of Admissions and all aspects of official and unofficial visits.
• Work closely with Head Coach, as well as the Athletic
• Business Office, to monitor purchases and maintain operating budgets.
• Maintain player files to ensure proper documentation of parental communication, student information and disciplinary actions.
• Provide assistance to Communication Office liaison in regards to Soccer information including updating on overseeing content for sport website.
• Work closely with Major Gifts and NCC to develop fundraising projects.
• Work closely with Life Skills Coordinator to arrange community service events and ensure teams are utilizing career development programming.
• Oversee and direct all aspects of team travel itineraries.
• Oversee and direct all aspects of the preseason training camp.
• Oversee all aspects of annual letterman awards.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by the Vice Chancellor, Associate Directors, and Head Soccer Coach.
• Work directly with the compliance office to ensure that the
• Soccer program adheres to SEC and NCAA regulations.
• Comply with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations.
