Director of Operations – Women's Volleyball
Campus: University of Oklahoma - Norman
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm; nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel required
Salary Range: Negotiable

Description
Director of Volleyball Operations functions to advance the mission and values of the Volleyball Team by providing our student-athletes with the resources necessary to compete for championships, excel in the classroom, and to prepare for successful lives after graduation.
• Assists Head Coach with coordination, guidance, direction, and supervision of the Volleyball Program.
• Provides office administration/management and professional administrative support.
• Assists with the developing and maintaining the team budget; Monitors the purchase of uniforms, equipment and supplies throughout the year; Supervises team and staff expenses such as travel, meals, and recruiting.
• Oversees record maintenance; exercises approval authority for payment of invoices, interdepartmental transfers, payroll and other similar instruments, which obligate departmental funds; conducting purchasing activities.
• Coordinates program's future match schedule; Ensures administrative approval of match contract as well as opponent's administrative approval.
• Helps with coordinating travel and assisting with equipment maintenance; Arranges team travel, hotels, and meals while on the road; Plans official visit travel, meals, and itinerary as well as communicates with the Compliance office of these events.
• Develops and administers office/departmental policies and procedures; Serve as a liaison with offices on and off campus.
• Oversees security, maintenance and space allocation with department's physical environment.
• Will research, collect, and analyze data or information and prepare reports or responses to inquiries and some supervision of clerical and/or graduate assistant staff.
Required Education: A Bachelor's degree in any specialization OR an equivalent combination of education/collegiate playing, coaching, or operations experience.

Advertised Physical Requirements
Must be able to crouch, pull, push, reach, engage in repetitive motions, and communicate verbally and in writing.
Certifications: Driver's License
Departmental Preferences:
• Masters Degree preferred
• 24 months' experience in collegiate athletics department
• Working knowledge of university, NCAA, and Big 12 rules and regulations
• Demonstrated success in operating autonomously while adhering to vision and mission of organization
