•Contribute to maintaining strong institutional control in all aspects of NCAA, Pac-12 Conference, and University of Arizona Athletics rules compliance.
•Supervise all activities associated with the NCAA and Pac-12 Conference eligibility for current and prospective student-athletes. •Oversee the initial eligibility process for prospective student-athletes across all sports.
•Monitor the eligibility of all student-athletes through collaboration with various partners including the University’s registrar and C.A.T.S Academics.
•Manage the transfer process for incoming and outgoing student-athletes.
•Maintain accurate and updated squad lists through comprehensive roster management.
•Serve as the primary resource for all Bylaw 14 interpretations.
•Lead the research, writing and submission process for hardship and waiver requests.
•Assist with the development and implementation of departmental policies and strategic planning initiatives.
•Coordinate annual institutional and NCAA paperwork associated with student-athletes.
•Support the NCAA, Pac-12 and institutional drug testing program.
•Other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance. •Duties may be adjusted based upon the expertise of the successful candidate.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of directly related experience preferably at the DI Level.
• Experience with and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Advanced proficiencies working with JumpForward.
• Ability and desire to accurately perform detail-oriented tasks and work with basic office software and database programs.
• Competent with computer software, such as Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail.
