Work Experiences:
• 7+ years of experience in design and/or art direction. Retail or agency experience preferred
Skills:
• Advanced skills in current Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Solid analytical skills with an ability to manage several project types and stakeholders, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate effectively as a leader, an individual contributor, and member of a team
• Provide superior customer service, demonstrating sound logic and judgment
• Ability to lead and develop a team
Responsibilities:
• Drives the development of brand creative projects and translate the brand into communications that are engaging and consistent across all channels.
• Partner with the copy team and lead designers to build brand communications
• Partner with brand marketing team to continually evolve our seasonal strategic approach and creative concepts for key selling time frames
• Lead external creative agency resources in the concept and production of digital creative
• Identify which work is best done internally and what is best done externally, keeping our production budget a fraction of the expected ROAS.
• Utilize marketing briefs, data and insights to craft on target creative that drives sales
• Continually enhance the overall capability of their team through coaching, training, mentoring and providing constructive feedback to consistently exceed stakeholder expectations
• Partner with the ACD to build a roster of freelance designers, photographers and illustrators that will elevate the brand.
• Hire, develop, and coach staff members
• Responsible for the training and development of the creative team
• Present and sell creative work to stakeholders and provide solutions to feedback
• Remain well-informed on popular culture and trends and monitor the effectiveness of advertising campaigns in contrast to the competitive landscape
• Be a thought leader in marketing; constantly advocating for growing brand loyalty through thoughtful design and advertising
• Required to learn company policies, procedures and safety rules
• Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned

• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
• Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
• Regular attendance required
• Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Up to 5% travel required
