The Big Ten Conference is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Sports Administration. The primary responsibilities include: serving as Conference office liaison for assigned sports, assisting in the overall management of Conference championships, providing staff support to the Conference Sports Management Committee, managing the Conference awards program, coordinating championship product orders, assisting with the SCORE community relations’ initiative and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor's degree, excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Regional travel required.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends.
A demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and 2-3 years of experience in administration or event management is preferred.
The ability to occasionally lift materials of 25-50 pounds, walking and/or standing for a sustained period of time may be required.
