Assist the Head Men's/Women's Swimming & Diving Coach in all aspects of coaching and teaching for an NCAA Division III sport program. Teach and coach student athletes, recruit highly selective prospective students, develop and implement season training and workout plan, lead physical training (including dry land), organize and run diving practices, and assist in all facets of aquatics management.
• Significant collegiate diving and or coaching experience preferred.
• Computer skills in Hy-Tek and DiveMeets meet management preferred.
• Serve on departmental committees.
• Ability to work effectively on a computer using Word, Excel, and Publisher preferred.
• Physical ability to swim and carry out a water rescue required
• Experience with Colorado Timing System preferred
• Extensive domestic travel required.
• Ability to react responsibly in an emergency situation required
• Ability to enforce pool regulations required
• Secondary departmental responsibilities will be assigned by the Athletic Director.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with NCAA rules and Division III philosophy required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments concurrently required.
