The University at Albany, a NCAA Division I Institution, member of the CAA and America East Conference is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time position in the area of Athletic Ticket Sales & Group Sales. The Assistant Director of Athletic Ticketing and Group Sales will play an integral role with the sale of season, group and individual game tickets for football, men's soccer, men's and women's basketball, and men's lacrosse.
The Assistant Director of Athletic Ticket Sales & Group Sales position will be providing high level customer service to the guests, fans, and attendees of all events hosted in UAlbany Athletic facilities.
They will assist the Department of Athletics with the administrative management necessary for the successful operation of a Division I athletics program with a focus in revenue and game attendance enhancement.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Dept. of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
• Previous experience working in a ticket office
• Previous experience making/fulfilling group sales
• Must possess exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate with individuals from various constituents within Athletics and the University as well as the wider community audience
• Must be a data driven individual who is knowledgeable in utilization of information to identify and target ticket sales and marketing of athletic entertainment
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Office products as well as Neulion ticket program is preferred.
• A demonstrated ability working with culturally diverse groups of people is required.
