SUMMARY
The Manager of Information Security reports to the VP of Infrastructure and Security and is accountable for the implementation and oversight of strategies and programs designed to reduce and mitigate information security risk across the company. The role will establish and lead an enterprise-wide information security and assurance function, ensuring that confidentiality, integrity, and availability requirements of information systems and assets are identified and managed appropriately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide counsel on IT risk through collaboration with key stakeholders
• Ensure that all IT and information security programs and policies are in alignment/compliance with applicable privacy and identity theft laws and other regulations such as SOX and PCI.
• Coordinate internal self-audit programs to ensure compliance, including regular penetration testing.
• Operate an effective information security awareness training program for the enterprise.
• Operate threat protection strategy to include a wide range of strategies such as firewalls, patching, anti-virus, log monitoring, data backup, disaster recovery, etc.
• Implement and operate a data classification and handling including encryption strategies and other scanning protection strategies for data loss prevention.
• Establish intrusion detection and incident response processes for proactive reaction to significant information security breaches.
• Ensure that strategic information security and risk guidance is provided to third-party suppliers in accordance with internal frameworks and ensure compliance with required controls.
• Create process to identify and communicate application risk with business partners so that informed decisions can be made.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Reports Directly To: VP, IT Infrastructure and Security
Security Admin will report to this position
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
Works in a professional office environment. Must support Data Center Facilities, which may involve working outside the normal work schedule. Must be able to do light to medium lifting and able to plug in equipment under desks and behind furniture. Travel requirements are normally for education & Disaster Recovery purposes; however, some travel may be required to Data Center Co-location Facilities or other entities for hardware resolution or new acquisitions (approximately 10% travel).

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Leading an internal SOC or managing a third party SOC
• Implementation of a IAM platform
• Maintenance of Vulnerability Management program
• Documentation and design for BIA, BCP, DRP, Policy and Procedure, IRP
• Deployment and management of DLP
• Ownership of SIEM
• Experience presenting to C Suite on security matters
• Leadership and Management
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent IT work experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE – Highly desirable but not required: CISSP, CISM
SECURITY/CONFIDENTIALITY
The position will have access to personnel & financial information that is strictly confidential. Any unauthorized release or disclosure is grounds for termination.
