The Sports Club Director creates a fitness and sports environment that meets the needs of our Membership.
They are responsible for hiring, training and developing all Sports Club staff, including: Group Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, Massage Therapists, Life guards, Swim Coaches, Pool staff, Tennis, child care, and Front Desk staff.
The Sports Club Director implements strategies that ensure attainment of the Departments financial and service goals, to include commissioned employees’ compensation structures, athletics programming as well as Member/new Member initial consultations.
Responsibilities
• Managing and developing all Sports & Fitness personnel
• Generating continued and new revenue for Sports Club
• Maintaining and increasing Member satisfaction
• Managing expenses as it relates to service payroll as well as forecasting/budgeting
• Creating an engaging and fun environment for our Members, Employee Partners, and guests
Job Qualifications
• Salaried position
• Must be willing to work weekends
• Must have previous experience managing Athletic facility
• Golf & Tennis fitness experience preferred
• TPI-certified preferred
• BS in Health, Fitness or Sports-Related field
• ACSM, ACE or similar certification
