Job Description
The Director of Golf Instruction will work within the stated guidelines of the Club to plan, organize, promote, conduct and develop golf instructional programs that meet Member/guest needs. The position must have extensive experience in golf instruction and player development programs for Members/guests of all age segments with an emphasis on Junior Golf programming using create instructional programs to enhance service and maintain interest and enthusiasm.
The Director of Golf Instruction will train other golf professional Employee Partners on conducting golf instruction and management of programs to include clinics, juniors and group/private lessons using state-of-the-art teaching and learning theories. S/he must be able to integrate the use of teaching aids and videotape, when appropriate, in all programs.
The Director of Golf Instruction is an advocate and ambassador of STAR Service and understanding the critical role that membership and exceeding expectations play in regards to the success of the operation. . Improving golfers is a way to connect and retain members.
Job Requirements
• 3 to 5 years experience specifically possessing experience in Junior Golf development
• Class A Member PGA/LPGA completion
• Ability to communicate effectively and possess an attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
