The Director of Marketing and Digital Media will be responsible for all aspects associated with the Bryant Sports Network and all video services for Bryant University Athletics.
The person appointed to this position will, in conjunction with the Associate Athletics Director for External Relations, be responsible for the marketing and promotion of Bryant Athletics, including but not limited to creation and execution of gameday promotions, marketing plans and on-campus outreach. The Director of Marketing and Digital Media will also work closely with the Athletics Communications staff and Ticket and Facilities Coordinator. Areas of responsibility also include, but are not limited to, social media initiatives, graphic creation, creation of original web content, scheduling of Bryant Sports Network broadcasts, and hiring and scheduling of marketing and new media student staff. The Bryant Sports Network currently produces more than 90 broadcasts each year spanning the home events of the Bulldogs’ 22 Division I varsity programs. This position requires availability on nights and weekends as well as some travel, and may be required to assist with other athletic department duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. Experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects software, and video/broadcast production using Tricaster equipment required. Experience in sports marketing and promotion preferred. Understanding of NCAA rules in areas of student-athlete promotion, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills required. Work samples may be requested, and applicants are encouraged to include upon application submission. Position requires work on weekends and travel.
