Description
BILLY CASPER GOLF (BCG), a leading golf course management company with 140+ managed facilities nationwide, seeks a Regional Director of Marketing (RDM). Reporting daily to the Vice President of Marketing, the RDM works with the Senior Vice President of Operations to ensure all marketing, sales and revenue strategies and programs are well-planned, flawlessly-executed, and expertly-analyzed. The RDM will work closely with 40+ facilities in the mid-western US region, collaborating with General Managers, sales personnel, and the centralized marketing team to increase awareness of, and sales at, golf courses and campgrounds in order to achieve budgeted revenue and profitability goals.
This is a unique opportunity for a persuasive, organized, analytical and sales-focused individual with demonstrated high-level success in directing people and projects, creating and managing consumer marketing programs, and analyzing business results to join the greatest marketing team in golf. The selected candidate will reside in the Chicago, IL.
Revenue Management - Engage regional and course management teams in discussion, analysis, and planning of pricing, marketing and sales strategies
Marketing Management - Develop and present digital marketing and sales plans, budgets, and analyses to teams, clients, and senior management
Direct implementation of all marketing and sales campaigns
Monitor, analyze, and communicate financial and program results of marketing and sales efforts
Develop insights and recommendations to provide to regional and general managers based on those results
Research new opportunities for marketing and sales programs
Assist the Vice President of Marketing in developing and executing national marketing programs
Provide BCG Marketing representation to clients
Travel to assigned courses up to 50% of time
Requirements
A minimum of five years of experience in consumer marketing and sales
Ability to manage marketing support personnel and establish priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to develop and implement successful marketing and sales campaigns
Experienced and capable of managing process change and new product launch
Possess solid business acumen and is accustomed to financial accountability
Execute and measure digital marketing strategies, with an emphasis on results
Experience deploying successful marketing programs to improve customer acquisition and loyalty
Analyze and report on business and sales metrics
Partner with and directly work on a diverse team
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel). Proficiency with CRM, email marketing and social media tools, highly recommended
Proven ability to make presentations to internal and external clients and potential new clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Understanding, if not passionate about, the golf and/or hospitality industry is a plus
