Purpose
To assist with the overall management of the Womens and Mens NCAA Division I Track and Field Program at The University of Texas at Austin and manage Track and Field camps and clinics throughout the year. Coordinating and organizing all functions for the Track and Field Program at the University of Texas at Austin.
Essential Functions
Support Track and Field staff with office functions, administrative processes including budgets, purchasing, travel arrangements, travel reimbursements, adherence to policy, etc. Coordinate all team travel logistics. Collaborate with Coaches, Track Support Staff on daily operational tasks including program planning, on campus recruiting, team meetings, department events. Coordinate team needs during home and away meets including meals, transportation, and schedules. Assist during meets with needs such as protests, meal deliveries, and student athlete preparations, keeping team/staff on schedule. May drive personal or UT vehicle to practices or meets. Assist with customer relations inside and outside of the University. Liaison for facilities, sports medicine, compliance, student services, student athletes. Monitor program adherence to NCAA time management plan. Enroll camp participants, collect payments, assure proper documentation, etc. Prepare and mail camp brochures. Assure all camp documentations and approval deadlines are met. Create camp budgets. Maintain the camp registration and camp website. Facilitate employment paperwork of camp coaches and counselors. Maintain camp correspondence with attendees.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of two years of experience working in college athletics. Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. Experience using databases. Excellent interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor. This position is designated as a Responsible Employee, pursuant to Title IX and University policy. Responsible Employees have a duty to promptly report incidents as per policy to the University Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinators. Responsible Employees are not confidential reporting resources. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience supporting Womens and Mens Track and Field Programs and camps, clinics, clubs, and or programs.
NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: Negotiable, depending on qualifications.
