Provides strategic planning, leadership and direction to create and implement a development plan and achieve financial goals for all aspects of athletics advancement. Position is responsible for setting goals and objectives as well as execution of all athletic fundraising campaigns to include annual, capital projects, planned giving, major gifts, scholarships, endowments and special events. Position will be expected to attend and support athletic programming, have a constant presence at community and campus events, requiring evening and weekend work.

Advanced degree in related field or equivalent education and experience plus comprehensive supervisory experience. Exceptional written, oral and public speaking skills and the ability to effectively relate to diverse audiences. Proven track record of exceeding established goals and demonstrated experience in fundraising and the process of acquiring philanthropic support for athletics. Proficiency in the use of technology including personal computer and the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
