Work Schedule: Typically, Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm; nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime travel as required

Description
Assists with the solicitation and procurement of major gifts including capital giving, planned giving, and scholarship endowments
Required Education: Bachelor Degree OR an equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:
• 0 - 24 months fund-raising, sales, gift planning, public relations, and/or marketing experience
Skills:
• Proficient navigating and maintaining databases
• Strong initiative to solve problems
• Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
• Customer service
• Able to communicate and build rapport with diverse group of letterwinners, patrons, coaches, administrators, and other key constituents
• Able and willing to gain and maintain working knowledge of university, Big 12, and NCAA rules and regulations
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment that includes night and weekend hours
• Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports
Certifications: Valid Driver's License for travel to meetings and special events
Advertised Physical Requirements: Must be able to engage in repetitive motions and communicate, including receiving detailed information orally.
Departmental Preferences:
• Master's degree in intercollegiate athletics administration, education or other related field
• 12 - 24 months experience in fund-raising, sales, gift planning, public relations, and/or marketing
• Working knowledge of university, Big 12, and NCAA rules and regulations
Supervision: No Supervisory Duties
