Assistant Men's and Women's Swimming Coach /Assistant Aquatics Director: Assist the Head Men's/Women's Swimming & Diving Coach in all aspects of coaching and recruiting for an NCAA Division III sport program. Teach and coach student athletes, recruit highly selective prospective students, develop and implement season training and workout plan, lead physical training (including dryland and weights), and assist in all facets of aquatics management.
Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced degree preferred.
Certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED-PR, and LGI preferred. Significant collegiate swimming and or coaching experience preferred.
Experience with Colorado Timing System preferred. Ability to work effectively on a computer using Word, Excel, and Publisher preferred.
Computer skills in Hy-Tek meet management and workout management preferred.
Physical ability to swim and carry out a water rescue required.
Ability to react responsibly in an emergency situation required.
Ability to enforce pool regulations required.
An understanding of the role of physical education and how athletics plays in a rigorous academic setting required.
Ability to identify and attract outstanding students to the University required.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills preferred.
