Assistant Director of Athletics or Director of NCAA Education and Compliance Services
Hofstra University an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Colonial Athletic Association is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Assistant Director of Athletics/ NCAA Education and Compliance Services.
This is a full time, 12-month position. This position is designed to assist the Associate Director of Athletics/ NCAA Education and Compliance Services with overseeing the adherence of the NCAA rules and regulations as well as those set by the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and Hofstra’s Institutional policies. This position along with the Associate AD serves as the athletics department liaison to The Office of Academic Advisement, The Office of Admissions, The Financial Aid Office, the Provost’s Office, and the Faculty Athletic Representative on matters related to the academic and athletic eligibility of student-athletes. This position will also assist the Associate Director of Athletics with the preparation of squad lists, declarations, financial aid forms, NCAA waivers, educational materials and with the maintenance of the department’s website.
Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Experience working in a Division I compliance office is preferred.
