Description
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for increased attendance and ticket sales, collaboration with student groups, alumni, donors and sponsors with the end goal of creating an exciting game-day experience
• Create pre-, post-, and in-game promotional activities to maximize revenue and improve game atmosphere
• Collaborate with the external team to strategize digital advertising elements, digital ad campaigns, social marketing, and data acquisition
• Coordinate all digital marketing efforts including strategy development and implementation of targeted digital campaigns
• Direct and activate email marketing elements
• Collaborate with the communications and video departments on social media efforts, videos, website, online streaming and other special projects to enhance the KSU athletics brand
• Write PA Script and coordinate videoboards at events with videoboards
• Manage the design, production and distribution of all marketing materials ensuring materials represent organization’s brand positioning and messaging appropriately
• Serve as a member of the athletics branding committee
• Develop and maintain relationships across campus and implement initiatives to increase student attendance and engagement at athletic events while working closely with Student Affairs, Greek Life, Residence Life and the Homecoming Committee
• Assist Associate AD for Corporate Sales in sponsor acquisition and activation
• Budget oversight
• Supervise full time creative services coordinator o Collaborate on graphics design, advertising, print, website and videoboard graphics
• Manage a staff of student interns
• Other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, promotions, sales or tickets sales in collegiate, professional or minor league field
• Strong technical, organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills and creativity required as well as the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and willingness to be a team player
• Proficient in MS Office and Desktop Publishing software
• Familiarity with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, SnapChat, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with intercollegiate (NCAA) events, activities, operations and rules and regulations
• Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as required
