The Director of Marketing Programming plays a critical role on the Topgolf brand team as he/she leads marketing campaign strategy, development, execution and optimization of our venue marketing programs. Programs are designed to drive visits (both new and repeat visits) and revenue potential in Topgolf venues. This role works closely with key leadership and operations team members to create integrated programs that meet business objectives by enhancing the Topgolf guest experience.
The DoMP owns the program models and the marketing communication plans for each of those programs. This position is best suited to a candidate who can build off guest insights to create strategic programs and manage the integrated execution required to deliver results, preferably with multi unit experience in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Owns the national programming calendar
• Utilizes all available research, insights and marketing tools to create strategic programming models across guest segments and dayparts
• Partners with operations to implement, execute and refine integrated programs
• Owns the process for developing, executing and measuring success of all programs – driving both new and repeat visits that ultimately maximize occupancy and delivers the optimal guest experience
• Partners with finance, legal and operations to ensure programs are financially viable, legal and can deliver the best guest experience
• Owns the process for all marketing campaigns. Including (but not limited to):
◦ Briefing creative
◦ Managing key messages for guest
◦ Liasing with communications team for media/PR needs
◦ Managing timelines for all communication pieces including email, print collateral, social media, paid media
◦ Ensures all messages and marketing collateral is in line with Topgolf brand
◦ Set up promotional codes/coupons as required
• Ensures Topgolf partners/sponsors are represented appropriately in marketing campaigns
• Partners with marketing analyst to track impact on business and monitor guest feedback
• Manages program budget
• Coaching and developing team of 6-8 marketing managers

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
• 8-12 years of Marketing Management experience in the Hospitality/Entertainment industry is required
• Undergraduate degree, preferred
