North Central College, a member of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a 12 month position with benefits.
Primary responsibilities:
Assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach in all aspects of a Division III Women’s Basketball program including, but not limited to: coordinate and implement innovative recruiting efforts; assist in practice and contests at the direction of the head coach; develop player skill development and strength and conditioning programs; assist in the video breakdown & scouting for contests; academic monitoring of women’s basketball student-athletes; coordinate team travel logistics; assist in community service outreach and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Candidate should have strong organizational, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and computer and social media skills; an ability to foster academic success and student athlete welfare; and operate in full compliance of NCAA, University, and CCIW rules.
Secondary responsibilities:
The assistant basketball coach will also work with the Director and Assistant Director of Athletics helping further develop, implement, and evaluate components of departmental athletic events and leadership programs.

Qualification standards:
Bachelor’s degree required,
Master’s degree preferred;
3 years of coaching and recruiting experience preferred;
college playing experience is preferred;
Valid driver’s license is required.
