Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Compliance will monitor compliance issues impacting student-athletes and athletics staff. The position will be a member of the TCU Office of Athletics Compliance and will report directly to the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Applicants must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all TCU, BIG 12 Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Primarily monitor NCAA Bylaws 11, 12 and 16
Manage coaching staff/personnel designations
Approve institutional promotional activities and donation requests
Monitor and approve outside competition requests
Manage student-athlete employment
Manage participation award distribution
Review and approve occasional meal requests
Monitor complimentary admissions to prospects, student-athletes, and high school/club coaches
Oversee camps/clinics process
Provide education and interpretation of NCAA rules, policies and regulations for student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff, and representatives of athletics interests
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least two years of experience working in Division I Athletics Compliance
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate
• At least three years of experience working in Division I Athletics Compliance
NOTES:
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
