Provides administrative oversight, vision and leadership, essential to accomplish business goals for the Operations and Maintenance and Facilities departments. Assists the Director of Athletics with oversight of the University of Florida Football program, including Football scheduling and Football team travel.
Provides strategic development, and guidance for mid and long-term project management for Major Maintenance and Major Capital Projects.
Cultivates positive business relationships with constituents in the University community, fans and internal and external customers. Creates innovative concepts to advance fan engagement.
Exercises a high level of integrity while managing and administering the budget process for assigned departments. Represents the University Athletic Association, Inc. on various University of Florida committees.
Other sport supervision and departmental leadership opportunities may exist based upon qualifications of successful candidate.

Master’s degree with emphasis on Sports Management, Sports Administration or Business Administration and five (5) years related work experience inclusive of three (3) years of demonstrated positive leadership skills are required. Previous experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletics environment is preferred.
Experience in Capital Project management and long range planning is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of budgetary requirements relevant to each department supervised.
Proven ability to work with a variety of constituents including the college community, fans and internal and external customers.
The ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential.
This position requires working extensive hours, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight travel.

Employer will assist with relocation costs.
