The Senior Associate Athletics Director will provide management for all functional areas of the Otis Hawkins Center for Academic & Personal Development.
Develops and implements department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, University Athletic Association (UAA) and University rules/regulations.
This applies to policies and procedures as they pertain to student-athletes’ academic progress toward earning a college degree and surpassing required academic standards set for student-athletes. Implements best practices and seeks innovative approaches for student-athlete academic advising and academic support, while cultivating the intellectual, career and community interests of the student-athletes.
Serves on various University and UAA committees, as well as a liaison to the Office of the Provost and UF Departments in regards to student-athletes’ academic progress. Responsible for budget generation and monitoring delegation for the department.

Master's Degree in business, education or related field with five years of academic related experience is required.
Three years of supervisory experience and an extensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is also required.
Knowledge of SEC rules and regulations is preferred.
Solid administrative, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are mandatory.
Requires an organized individual with the ability to multi-task effectively.
Must be an independent innovative thinker, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
The ability to work a non-standard work schedule, which may include nights, weekends and holidays, is mandatory.
