Strength & Conditioning (Olympic Sports), Director
The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Strength & Conditioning (Olympic Sports), Director.

As an executive member of the Notre Dame Student-Athlete Services team, the Strength & Conditioning, Director for Olympic Sports will lead, manage and help set the strategic vision for a team of dedicated and invested professionals whose mission is to maximize the genetic potential of each student athlete. Seven strength & conditioning coaches will report to this position, and the Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of personnel, facilities, and budget matters. This position will also serve as a coach to two teams, including the Women's Basketball program, designing tailored training programs aimed at reducing the risk of injury while increasing strength, power, endurance and body awareness. The Director, reporting directly to the Senior Associate Athletics Director - Student-Athlete Services and working closely with the Under Armour Vice President of Athlete Performance, will collaborate with fellow Student-Athlete Services staff members to help fulfill the vision of Notre Dame Sports Performance. The Director will work to empower the strength & conditioning staff by promoting teamwork and collaboration, a coach-driven student-athlete centered approach and cutting-edge methodologies aligned to best practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Kinesiology , Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, Strength & Conditioning, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-6yrs experience in Strength & Conditioning
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strength Coach Certified through one of the following organizations; National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC).
• CPR and AED certification.
